FAMILY LAW
A large percentage of Rose-Anne’s practice is devoted to mediation and arbitration in the family law arena. With over twenty years of experience in family law, Ms. Landau is prepared to resolve your family law dispute no matter the level of conflict. Rose-Anne recognizes that in the realm of divorce, it takes a good listener with a trained ear to really hear what is at the root of the conflict. As a mediator, Rose-Anne uses a common sense approach to help parties construct an agreement that honors each party’s needs and allows the parties to move forward with civility and respect. Parties leave mediation satisfied and empowered that they have solved their own problems rather than relied on the unpredictability of a court proceeding. However, when cases are not able to be resolved through mediation, Ms. Landau is often appointed to act as the arbitrator, a role in which Ms. Landau is committed to act fairly, intelligently and carefully with the understanding of what is at stake, especially where the best interest of children are involved.
